Dr. Isaac Hardoon

Chief of Supportive and Palliative care 
<br>Isaac Hardoon, DO is dual boarded in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.</br> <br>Dr. Hardoon is a graduate of Stony Brook University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with a Minor in Biology. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency in the Department of Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Hardoon completed his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, and for the past 3.5 years was a Palliative Care Attending Physician and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein School of Medicine.</br> <br>Dr. Hardoon is joining NYCBS as the Chief physician of their Palliative Care program. Palliative care is a medical discipline aimed at improving the quality of life for patients with a serious, life-limiting, and advanced illness. Dr. Hardoon is dedicated to the alleviation of suffering in patients and is skilled in pain and symptom management. Becoming the Chief physician of the palliative care team, a team that will aim to ensure the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of patients every step of the way, during treatment, and thereafter. The team will strive to be that extra layer of support for patients and their families throughout their journey. Dr. Janaya Raynor

Supportive & Palliative Care 
<br>Dr. Raynor obtained a Master of Science degree at Johns Hopkins University. Continuing her education, she received a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Raynor has experience in clinical research studies and has written multiple publications. MaryAnn Fragola, DNP, ANPc, ACHPN

Supportive & Palliative Care 
<p>MaryAnn Fragola, DNP, ANPc, ACHPN is a board-certified oncology nurse practitioner. She has been a part of this practice for the past 20 years providing direct patient care to patients and families. She currently serves as Clinical Director of our Palliative Care program</p> <p>She is a graduate of Wilkes University where she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Dr. Fragola earned her MSN degree Adult Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Stony Brook University. Dr. Fragola has experience in hematology, oncology, hospice care, and medical-surgical care in-home, outpatient, and in-hospital settings.</p> <p>More recently, she obtained her National board certification in advanced hospice and palliative care, as well as, completed an advanced training certificate in palliative care. Dr. Fragola has been actively involved in the implementation of our current palliative care program. She is a certified medical marijuana prescriber. She serves as an Adjunct Professor and continues to teach students online, as well as, precept/mentor nurse practitioner students and new hires within the practice.</p> <p>As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Fragola’s services include, but are not limited to assessing phone and walk-in triage, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting labs and tests, and prescribing treatments and medications.
