Michael Mitrani is the Senior Director of Revenue Operations and has been a part of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists for over 13 years. Michael has navigated through several different positions since joining in 2007 from Medical Records Associate, Receptionist, Unit Coordinator, Certified Medical Coder, and Financial Counselor to finally, Director of Revenue Operations which he has held since 2014. Michael is responsible for working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Revenue Cycle Management including billing/collection of accounts receivable, prior authorizations for medical/pharmacy/radiology, insurance eligibility/referrals, financial services (counselors) and medical records. Michael always strives to be a direct resource and guide for patients in any of their insurance or financial needs throughout their journey.
