Heather is an experienced Nurse Practitioner, having practiced for over 20 years in various clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient oncology, stem cell transplantation and post-anesthesia care units. She is passionate about providing high-quality supportive care, believing it can facilitate a smoother journey as patients work towards their treatment goals.

In 1998, Heather completed Nassau Community's competitive Nursing program. Subsequently, she obtained a dual bachelor's and master’s degree from Molloy University. Additionally, Heather holds an Advanced Oncology Certification.

Currently serving as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Adelphi University, Heather loves guiding the next generation of nurses. Leading clinical groups at major medical centers such as NYU Winthrop and Northwell Manhasset, she emphasizes patient education from the initial encounter, highlighting the importance of listening, building trust, and a team approach.

Nominated as Nurse Navigator/speaker for AstraZeneca in 2017, she currently speaks for Bristol Myers Squibbs' oncology division, promoting new indications and educating nursing and mid-level clinicians on the safety of immunotherapy and chemotherapy combinations.

An educator and an active learner, Heather loves integrative wellness, travel, and is a podcast enthusiast. She thoroughly enjoys coaching her daughter's soccer team and spends most of her free time at a lacrosse, soccer, or regatta sideline with her husband and three children.
