Dr. Hira Chaudhary is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist dedicated to advancing cancer care through innovative research and compassionate patient treatment.

She earned her Medical Doctor degree from St. George's University and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, followed by her Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Northwell Health.

With extensive experience in managing diverse patient populations, Dr. Chaudhary has worked with multicultural communities throughout her training in Brooklyn and facilitated inpatient care of cancer patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Chaudhary has published manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at national conferences on the subjects of bone marrow disorders, gastrointestinal malignancies and immunotherapy. She promoted strategic and team-oriented translational research during training and extensively worked on clinical trials with novel agents aimed at improving cancer outcomes at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Medical Association.

Understanding that cancer holds a huge psychosocial impact on patients and families, Dr. Chaudhary provides a comprehensive and individualized approach for her patients in choosing effective treatment plans. She is dedicated to patient advocacy for greater accessibility and equitability in cancer care.
