Physician Assistant
Dena Mathew, MS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant, specializing in hematology/oncology.
She holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and is affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New York Society of Physician Assistants, and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
Prior to beginning her career with New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, Dena practiced as a physician assistant specializing in Adult Malignant Hematology and was one of the lead advanced practice providers at The Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) Research and Treatment Program headed by Dr. Kanti Rai. She was a sub-investigator on several clinical trials focusing on the use of novel agents in treating CLL and other Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphomas.
