IT
Carlos is responsible for NYCBS’ IT infrastructure, technical operations and projects oversight for all city branches. He manages team members while also providing training and mentorship. Carlos also reviews and implements IT policies and procedures to support information privacy and security.
Carlos graduated with a B.S. Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo., and his M.S. in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology. Prior to his career at NYCBS, Carlos worked as a tech supervisor and operation manager in the server manufacturing industry and as an IT consultant in the wholesale and retail industry. He has worked 20 years in the IT industry.
Carlos is constantly evaluating IT trends, tools, and best industry practices to help strengthen our company IT infrastructure and enhance IT service management system to deliver better patient care. Carlos loves learning about languages and is fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and his next goal is to learn Italian and Portuguese.
