Tree of Hope 2019
Each year, New York Cancer & Blood Specialists hosts its annual “Tree of Hope” tree lighting ceremony which has grown significantly since its inception. This year's event took place at the new state of the art cancer care center located at 49 Route 347, Port Jefferson Station on December 7th.
The Tree of Hope symbolizes the patients, their families, and the team of doctors, nurses, and staff that hope for a world that is cancer-free. Patients and their families endure a great deal as they go through treatment and NYCBS aspire to ease the burden that accompanies and lift their spirits, especially during the holidays.
“Tree of Hope” illuminated the night adorned with messages of hope for a happy and healthy future.
