Dr. Nawaz is a medical hematologist and oncologist. Dr. Nawaz is an attending physician with New York Cancer Specialists since 2004. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar Pakistan.
He completed his residency in Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Nawaz is affiliated with Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, JT Mather Memorial Hospital, St. Charles Hospital, and St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center. Dr. Nawaz is on staff and holds a teaching position as a clinical instructor at Stony Brook University Medical Hospital.
Dr. Nawaz is actively involved in various clinical trials. He specializes in treating all oncological and hematological malignancies.
