New York Cancer & Blood Specialists Welcomes Shahzaib Nabi, MD

New York, NY, May 1, 2020- New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is pleased to announce Shahzaib Nabi, MD has joined their team of physicians. Dr.Nabi is a medical oncologist/hematologist. He will be practicing at 45-64 Francis Lewis Boulevard, Suite 202, Bayside, NY 11361.

Dr.Nabi received his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, University of Health Sciences in Multan, Pakistan. He completed advanced training throughout his residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Health System/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr.Nabi graduated from his hematology-oncology fellowship program at the University of Colorado in 2019.

Dr. Nabi became interested in medicine as a teenager when he was involved in the care of a family member who had health issues. It was during that time he realized the importance of the role that physicians play in the overall well-being of a patient. Dr.Nabi’s focus is “to provide culturally competent care to the patients and to create a friendly, yet professional environment for everyone. He believes his experience with patients from different cultural backgrounds, especially patients with low socioeconomic status separate him from many other physicians.
