Dr. Sobha Atluri

Sobha Atluri, MD, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with cancer and blood disorders. She treats both hematologic malignancies and solid tumors and is committed to delivering individualized care through every stage of diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Dr. Atluri earned her Doctor of Medicine from North-Western State Medical University in Russia. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology and is licensed to practice medicine in New York State.

Dr. Atluri has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including the evaluation and management of hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, transfusion support, systemic therapies, and supportive care. She is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the European Society for Blood Marrow Transplantation. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Atluri has contributed to oncology and hematology research with multiple publications and presentations focused on improving outcomes for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
