Nicole Flores, serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS), exemplifies a dedicated leader committed to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients and their families.

Working closely with the CEO, Nicole provides strategic leadership and oversees critical functions including operations, communications, and staff management at NYCBS. She has worked tirelessly to support the rapid growth and expansion of NYCBS and to develop the affiliated multi-specialty practice of NY Health by managing building projects and real estate acquisitions throughout Long Island, into the 5 boroughs and beyond.

Nicole has been with the NYCBS organization for 25 years and has an intimate knowledge and understanding of the many functions that make it successful. Through fostering collaborative relationships with the executive team and key stakeholders, she continuously works towards enhancing overall operational performance to ensure the delivery of exceptional care. Her relentless focus lies in ensuring high-quality business operations for clinical services and the efficient management of support and patient services.

Throughout her career, Nicole has dedicated herself to supporting cancer patients, families, and communities. Serving as the Vice President of the New York Cancer Foundation, she actively contributes to the Foundation's mission of providing vital support, resources, and assistance to individuals and families facing financial distress.

Nicole has engaged in impactful lobbying on Capitol Hill in collaboration with the Community Oncology Alliance, working alongside patient advocates to help shape policies and transform the landscape of cancer care delivery in the United States. Additionally, Nicole contributes to humanitarian initiatives by working closely with the American Red Cross of Greater New York committee.
