Lynn Carten is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Oncology Certified Nurse, who provides comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. She has extensive clinical experience in oncology, hematology, and infusion services, with a strong focus on evaluation, medication management, symptom control, and patient education in the outpatient oncology setting.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Felician University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate Degree in Nursing. Lynn completed focused clinical training in hematology and oncology and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to her role as a nurse practitioner, Lynn worked for several years as an outpatient chemotherapy infusion nurse, administering chemotherapy and supportive treatments, monitoring treatment reactions, accessing implanted ports and central lines, and documenting care in EPIC. She has experience conducting oncology assessments, managing treatment-related toxicities, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and supporting clinical research initiatives.
