Janet DeRico

Janet DeRico, MSN, BSN, BS, AGNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives caring for patients in a holistic manner, prioritizing them as a person and not simply as a disease process. She approaches patient care with dedication, compassion, and true commitment to making a difference in her patients lives.

Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing from Adelphi University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Manhattanville College. Janet is published in the field of dialysis, co-authoring “A Practical Guide to PD Access Care Infectious and Non-infectious Complications Management.”

Outside of work, Janet enjoys gardening. She feels that dirt therapy is the best kind of therapy for the body, mind, and soul. Her additional interests include traveling and volunteer work.
