Emily Baird

Emily Baird, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. She provides comprehensive patient care including clinical assessment, treatment coordination, patient education, and ongoing monitoring for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

Emily earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Stony Brook University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She also holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Suffolk Community College. She completed clinical training in adult primary care and pediatric care, where she managed acute and chronic conditions, developed individualized care plans, and provided patient education on disease management and treatment adherence.

Emily brings more than a decade of oncology nursing experience to her role at NYCBS. Since 2014, she has worked as an oncology registered nurse within the organization, providing direct patient care, administering treatments, managing intravenous and central line access, and supporting patients and families throughout their treatment journey. She collaborates closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care for patients.
