Eleana M. Kitz

Eleana M. Kitz is a Family Nurse Practitioner at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. She provides comprehensive care for patients with hematological and oncologic conditions in the outpatient setting, including clinical assessment, treatment coordination, and ongoing symptom management. She works closely with physicians and the nursing team to support patient care throughout treatment.

Eleana earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Utica University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Farmingdale State College. She previously practiced as a Registered Nurse and Assistant Head Nurse at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists in Riverhead, where she delivered infusion therapies, supported clinical research protocols, and assisted with administrative and leadership responsibilities. Before this, she worked in critical care settings at Mather Hospital, gaining extensive experience caring for medically complex patients.

In her current role, Eleana supports patients receiving hematologic and oncologic therapies. She is certified in critical care nursing and advanced cardiac life support and is committed to delivering safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care across the continuum of cancer treatment.
