Ebru Tontas is a dual board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in geriatric oncology and primary care. She provides comprehensive care for geriatric patients undergoing complex treatments, including bone marrow transplants and CAR T-cell therapy.

Ebru holds a Master's degree in Public Health Nursing from UCSF and a Post-Master's degree in Adult-Gerontology and Occupational Environmental Health, also from UCSF. She has earned specialized certifications as a Therapeutic Pain Specialist and in Clinical Genetics/Genomics, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based, cutting-edge patient care.

Beyond clinical practice, Ebru is a passionate advocate for cancer patients and health equity. She co-founded Kanserle Dans, a global nonprofit organization that provided patient navigation services to Turkish-speaking cancer patients and built a social media community of over 300,000 followers. Her grant-winning work includes receiving the prestigious UICC SPARC Grant in 2015 for her project addressing the needs of women with metastatic breast cancer in Turkey.

Trilingual in Turkish, English, and French, with developing proficiency in Spanish, Ebru brings cultural competence and empathy to her work with diverse patient populations. She has published research on virtual nutritional counseling for cancer patients and presented at international conferences on quality of life, support networks, and psycho-oncology.
