Hematopathologist
Dr. Yusong Yang is a board-certified Hematopathologist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Yang has expertise in diagnosing lymphoid and myeloid malignant and benign diseases with an integrated approach. Dr. Yang is committed to precision medicine, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques to guide treatment decisions.
Dr. Yang earned his medical degree from Nanjing Medical University and completed a dermatology residency at the Institute of Dermatology in Nanjing, China. He received a Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in biochemistry and molecular biology at the same institution. Dr. Yang then completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and a hematopathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yang speaks fluent English and Chinese. Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines.
