Dr. Tong Dai

Tong Dai, MD, PhD is a board-certified oncologist with over 10 years of experience in treating complex medical conditions, while specializing in gastrointestinal cancers. He has extensive expertise in translational and clinical research in oncology, directing successful clinical trials Keynote 164 and Keynote 177 that led to FDA approval of immunotherapy Keytruda for advanced/metastatic dMMR/MSI-H colorectal cancer.

Dr. Dai studied medicine at Shanghai Medical University in China. Dr. Dai earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Basis of Disease from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and further honed his skills as a postdoctoral associate at Yale University.

His clinical training includes an internal medicine residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Dai is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, and Einstein Hospital.

Dr. Dai is fluent in English and Mandarin. Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Dai enjoys hiking and playing tennis with his wife.
