  • "Dr. Chen saved my fathers life!Seven years ago we were told to make dad comfortable and that was all that could be done. Dr. Chen found a medication that my dad could tolerate and lo and behold it’s been working wonders ever since. I’ll be honest, chemotherapy isn’t easy but I still have my dad and the good days outweigh the bad. Dr. Chen is wonderful, he takes the time to explain everything to us and he has the kindest smile that just makes you feel understood. Above all else he cares about his patients and does his level best to save lives every day. I’m grateful he’s my dad’s oncologist, we couldn’t ask for any better."

  • "After five years of treatment for my cancer by a very highly qualified and efficient oncologist at Stony Brook, I relocated to Calverton. Age and distance prompted me to transfer my care to Dr. Chen. In truth, that move was not without a lot of concern on my part because I was satisfied with my treatment at Stony Brook. My concerns were wasted. The transition was seamless. Dr Chen and his team have been superb in every aspect of my treatment. He has been warm and caring person, talking to me and my wife like we are adults, telling us like it is without causing more anxiety than we already have given our circumstances. I totally agree with an earlier comment that his shaking hands makes this a very personal relationship not just a professional visit on a clock. I am extremely glad that I made the switch and I am grateful for the care I have received and am confident that it’s the best that I could hope for."
