Rebecca Zweifler, MD, is a hematologist-oncologist, who places a strong emphasis on clear communication, making complex medical information accessible, and ensuring patients understand their plan of care. Dr. Zweifler earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a fellowship with Northwell Health’s Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program. She completed her Hematology Oncology Fellowship at Morristown Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Zweifler has contributed to research throughout her medical career, with projects examining cervical cancer screening, thyroid cancer among Hispanic patients, immunotherapy in older adults, and the use of artificial intelligence in oncology. Her work has resulted in peer-reviewed publications and research presentations. During her time as Chief Fellow, she also oversaw improvements in fellow education and the fellows’ clinic.
