Dr. Malvi Thakker is a board-certified oncologist-hematologist dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to her patients. With a passion for hematology-oncology, she is inspired by the opportunity to connect with her patients and support them during their most challenging and vulnerable times. Dr. Thakker believes in treating the patient as a whole, emphasizing the importance of developing a strong patient-doctor relationship. She has a special interest in the field of GI and lung malignancies.
Dr. Thakker graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mather Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Thakker completed her Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. She speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with family, and traveling.
