Dr. Jacob Levenson

Medical Oncology & Hematology

Jacob Levenson, MD, a dedicated hematologist-oncologist with extensive clinical experience managing complex solid tumors and hematologic malignancies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He also provides on-site oversight for chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions, including the recognition and management of infusion reactions and urgent oncologic complications.

Dr. Levenson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine after completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Economics at Brandeis University. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, North Shore University Hospital, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he also completed his Hematology-Oncology Fellowship.

Dr. Levenson’s research focuses on liver-directed and precision therapies in gastrointestinal malignancies. His work includes research on hepatic artery infusion pump therapy for unresectable colorectal liver metastases, circulating tumor DNA during total neoadjuvant therapy for rectal cancer, and data analytics in pancreatic cancer. He is a co-first author of an American Society of Clinical Oncology Education Book chapter on liver-directed therapies in colorectal cancer. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
