Dr. Hitendra Rambhia

Hitendra Rambhia, MD, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with over three decades of experience. He currently serves as Hematology/Oncology Faculty at One Brooklyn Health, encompassing Interfaith, Brookdale, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Centers in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Rambhia earned his MBBS from G.S. Medical College, University of Bombay, before completing his internal medicine residency at Catholic Medical Center in New York. He then pursued fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at Long Island College Hospital, followed by specialized training in Bone Marrow Transplantation at North Shore University Hospital. This comprehensive training equipped him with expertise in treating complex hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and performing life-saving bone marrow transplant procedures.

Dr. Rambhia has contributed to oncology research with published studies on innovative cancer treatments, including groundbreaking work on paclitaxel infusion protocols and novel therapeutic approaches for refractory breast carcinoma. His research has been presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
