Dr. Gardith M. Joseph is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Internist with over 25 years of experience providing expert cancer care, advancing clinical research, and mentoring the next generation of physicians. She completed her medical degree at the University of Seville School of Medicine in Spain. Subsequently, she trained extensively in General Pathology at the State University of New York at Brooklyn/Kings County Hospital, as well as in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health System.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Joseph has served in leadership roles, including Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New-York, Fellowship Program Director of Hematology /Oncology at Brookdale Medical Center, Adult Sickle Cell Program Director at Brookdale Medical Center, Fellowship Program Director and Interim Chief of Hematology/Oncology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Associate Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Brookdale Medical Center. She is the founder and President of Dr. Gardith Joseph Medical, P.C., Quality Cancer Care in Brooklyn, NY, where she has been committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered oncology services since 2010.

An accomplished researcher, Dr. Joseph has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and national conference abstracts on complex cancers, including breast, pancreatic, and hematologic malignancies. She has participated in pivotal clinical trials with the NSABP and has authored impactful case reports highlighting rare cancer presentations.

Recognized as one of America’s Top Oncologists by the Consumers’ Research Council of America (2009, 2014, 2019) and honored by New York Magazine Castle-Connelly, LTD as one of the region’s best doctors (2017), Dr. Joseph has also received the Women of Distinction Award from the New York City Council. She is a long-standing member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), and the Haitian-American Association of Physicians Abroad (AMHE), where she frequently lectures internationally on breast cancer, disparities in cancer care, and advances in targeted therapies.

Fluent in French, Spanish, and Creole, Dr. Joseph is deeply committed to closing gaps in healthcare disparities and improving cancer outcomes for underserved populations across the Caribbean, African American, and immigrant communities through Health fair activities and Radio Talks. She has been a featured speaker at global conferences in Panama, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Nassau, Bahamas, Virginia, Miami, and beyond, raising awareness about breast cancer prevention, precision medicine, and oncologic emergencies. With a career rooted in compassion, scholarship, and service, Dr. Gardith Joseph continues to provide high-quality cancer care while championing equity and education in Oncology.
