  • "Today was my first visit with Dr Diamond. I was very impressed with his thorough review of my history, professionalism, & compassion. Being a nurse for over 40 years, I can see he is an excellent physician & extremely knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable, was easy to talk to, and answered all my questions. I was so pleased with him that I’ve asked him to see my mother, just diagnosed with cancer, at Huntington Hospital. I know she’ll be in excellent hands!"

  • "I recently went to the NY Cancer and Blood Specialists at Mt. Sinai, Greenlawn. I am experiencing some issues with several blood counts and was referred to Doctor Diamond, a hematologist by my primary care physician. It took some time to get an appointment and I went in last Friday. I am familiar with the office since I see several doctors in the same complex. The NY Cancer and Blood wing is affiliated with Mt. Sinai but is its own entity. After checking in, I was called in and was escorted to an exam room where my blood was drawn by a very capable nurse. I was then escorted to another room where my vitals were taken. After that, a nurse practitioner came in and we discussed my history and concerns. I then met with Dr. Diamond and he reviewed several of the blood tests that had just been done. We also discussed my medical history and he told me that there would be many results coming in the days that followed (which has happened). After some time, we finished our discussion and I was given another appointment in 2+ weeks. I was amazed at the size of the facility and impressed by all the staff that I encountered that day. I feel confident that I will be diagnosed correctly and that I will be given the best care possible. I highly recommend this practice and doctor!"

  • "I met with Dr Evan Diamond for the first time in late September, 2022 (15 months after I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer). I explained my symptoms and concerns and within 2 weeks, he had me scheduled for a mammography and an appt with a GI specialist, which led to a colonoscopy and ultimately diagnosed with stage 3 colo-rectal cancer. I was treated with radiation, chemo and ultimately surgery. By late April of 2023, I was cancer free. Obviously I love this man, and have the greatest respect for his diagnostic ability, care and concern. Everyone I have dealt with at New York Blood and Cancer Specialists have been professional and compassionate. I am still being monitored and as far as I’m concerned, Dr Diamond saved my life! I am forever grateful!"
