Dr Amory Novoselac is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from University of Zagreb in 1996, and he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology / Oncology fellowship at Lenox HIll Hospital in New York. Dr Novoselac is an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical Center. He holds an academic position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr Novoselac participates in education and training of medical students, residents and fellow physicians. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians and NY State Medical Society. Dr Novoselac provides care for a range of benign and malignant blood disorders as well as solid tumors, with a special clinical focus on lung cancer.

  • "As usual, my experience with Dr. Novoselic and his assistant was exceptional! However the experience with the nurse or tech who took my vitals and blood sample was awful! Worst moment came when she left the blood pressure band on my arm for quite a long time and then left the room. She was gone for a long time, so I took it off thinking she forgot. When she finally arrived back she was angry I took it off and started angrily muttering in Spanish. My arm was completely numb for at least five minutes. Also, when she took the blood sample she really jabbed the needle in several times. The area is still black and blue two days later which never happens to me since I heal quickly. Also, her accent was so strong I couldn’t understand much of what she said. As a result, my vitals and the other medical info she inquired about might not be accurate. Not a good thing to go through when you’re recovering from cancer! This is all part of an industry wide problem I see in the health field. The doctor might be great, but the staff is rude and nasty. No one should feel like the medical staff wants to fight with you! Again Dr. Novoselic and his assistant were great. Top notch. It was just this tech who did my vitals and blood sample that made the visit awful."
