Adam Hines, MD, is a board-certified oncologist-hematologist passionate about providing personalized and cutting-edge care to his patients, utilizing the latest advancements in oncology and hematology. Dr. Hines’ primary focus is on lung, head and neck malignancies. He is deeply passionate about improving the lives of individuals affected by cancer and blood disorders, and he strives to deliver the highest quality of care with a patient-centered approach.
After obtaining his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Hines pursued a residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Queens. Notably, he excelled in his role as Chief Internal Medicine Resident and Hospitalist during his residency. Driven by his passion for oncology and hematology, he further advanced his training through a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Northwell Health, where he served as a Chief Fellow. Throughout his residency and fellowship training, he achieved multiple awards, including clinical resident/fellow of the year and an outstanding teacher award. He is well-published and has presented at many national conferences with a focus on non-small cell lung cancer targeted therapies.

"I have been Dr. Hines patient since June of 2024 & from hello I just knew i was in the best hands & since then he's proven me nothing but right! He is very knowledgeable, very professional, very caring, very patient & you can tell he genuinely cares about people & loves what he does! I recently moved from Rockville centre to port Jefferson & i refuse to transfer. I would much rather take the hour travel to him. Saying he's the best is an under statement.
