Anne Ortiz-Rios

Anne is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She started at NYCBS as a Patient Communications Operator. She is dedicated to providing patients with individual counseling to address their needs and provide community resources and support services.

Anne received a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Family, Youth, and Transition to Adulthood Specialization from Stony Brook University. Anne pursued a career in Social Work in order to provide support to those who need it.

Anne has experience working with patients who have anxiety and depression. She has done group and individual counseling. Anne has completed training in Gender Affirming Care for Transgender and Gender-Non-Conforming clients and Mental Health First Aid.
