Nurse Practitioner
Alyssa is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology in 2013 and then returned to complete her Bachelors in Nursing, graduating in 2015 from Stony Brook University. Alyssa’s nursing career includes management of hematology-oncology patients in the acute inpatient medical-surgical setting and over five years in the Intensive Care Unit at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson. She returned to Stony Brook to complete her Masters of Science in Adult Gerontological Health and, as an NP student, had the privilege of completing clinical hours with the guidance of the nursing and medical staff at NYCBS. Alyssa is eager to continue learning and growing as a provider in collaboration with the medical team here at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists.
