Allison E. Whalen is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in oncology nursing. Allison earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing with a specialty in Adult/Geriatric Acute Care from New York University.
Allison is committed to nursing education, having served as a clinical instructor at Orange County Community College/SUNY Orange and as a per diem instructor for the Practical Nurse Program at Orange Ulster-BOCES. Her dedication to improving patient outcomes is reflected in her published research on reducing hospital admissions through focused interventions.
Allison holds active nurse practitioner licenses in New York and New Jersey, maintains ACLS and BLS certifications, and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
