Joseph J. Spina

Joseph J. Spina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of diverse clinical experience in acute care, emergency medicine, and critical care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from CUNY Lehman College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University. Joseph has extensive experience caring for medically complex and critically ill patients, having served in multiple roles at Montefiore Wakefield, including the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department.

In addition to his hospital-based experience, Joseph provides acute care in the home setting, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, patient-centered interventions. He is skilled in clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient education, and is committed to promoting preventive care, health equity, and evidence-based practice. Joseph is ANCC board-certified and holds Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in New York State.
