Dr. Goldenberg brings a distinguished career dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through innovative research, clinical leadership, and patient-centered care. He has been practicing for over 40 years.

Dr. Goldenberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Magna Cum Laude with High Honors, from Brandeis University before receiving his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Following his internal medicine residency and role as Chief Medical Resident at Bellevue-University Hospitals, Dr. Goldenberg completed fellowship training in Medical Oncology-Hematology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he was also awarded research fellowships as both a Dana Foundation Fellow and National Research Service Award
recipient.
Over three decades at NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Goldenberg advanced from Assistant Professor to Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, while serving as an assistant attending at Tisch University Hospital, and attending physician at Bellevue Hospital.
In addition to his clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Goldenberg invented the Snarecoil® bone marrow biopsy needle, a groundbreaking device developed to improve specimen capture and retrieval compared to traditional Jamshidi needles. Today, the Snarecoil® is used by
physicians worldwide.
