Karen Belleh has a bachelor’s in mathematics/pre-med from New York University and completed her physician assistant degree at Long Island University/Brooklyn Hospital. She graduated from Stony Brook University with her master’s and will pursue her doctorate in medical science.
She has been a physician assistant for 30 years and worked in a variety of specialties from pediatrics, medicine, cardiology, surgery, and critical care. Her current specialty is hematology-medical oncology.
Karen received the LI Recognition Award from NYU Langone for her outstanding work effort. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks, and playing different musical instruments.
It is a pleasure having her as a part of the NYCBS team.
