Dr. Gerry Rubin

Gerry Rubin, MD, is board-certified in oncology and hematology and has a special interest in hematological malignancies.
After receiving her BA in Biology and English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Rubin went on to receive her MD from the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, There she trained in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Her post-graduate fellowship in hematology and oncology was completed at Albert Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
Post fellowship, she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ, where she was an integral part of the Bone Marrow Transplant Team and was named Medical Director for the HLA Registry of River Edge, NJ. Dr. Rubin also had the opportunity to gain additional experience with Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Rubin has been treating patients in Bay Shore, NY since 2002 and will continue to do so in the Babylon and East Islip medical oncology offices with New York Cancer & Blood Specialists.
