Medical Oncology & Hematology
Dr. Evan Diamond is a hematologist-oncologist at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Dr. Diamond obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He returned to NY, completed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, and was named chief resident. To conclude his post-graduate training, he completed his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was the recipient of the Lester Z. Lieberman Award for his commitment to humanism in medicine and was named chief fellow.
Dr. Diamond has experience in research and scholarly activities with publications and poster presentations. In addition, he has a particular interest in survivorship, promoting wellness, and collaborating with others to provide the best possible treatment care and outcome for his patients

"I am very pleased with the New York Blood and Oncology practice. I first visited this practice six months ago when they were at the Mt. Sinai location in Greenlawn.
I applaud Dr. Diamond and his staff. Each and every one of them are highly professional and well trained. I probably said this before but it is worth repeating, this practice is heads and shoulders above the rest. Scheduling an appointment is seamless. Appointment times are genuine and I got seen promptly during each visit.
I was a little concerned when I was notified of the practice moving but luckily the new site is still close enough to my home to be convenient. I am glad that two of my doctors from Mt. Sinai recommended to me that I stay with Dr. Diamond. They only had good things to say about him. He is definitely missed by those at Mt. Sinai!"
